South Amboy Project Continues...
The Rain continued to beat down on the South Amboy Project on Monday and Tuesday this week and all we could
do was batten down the hatches and keep all the water from entering the units because the roofs were not up on many parts
of the building as of yet. Additional tarps were called for and installed on all open roof sections to accomplish this.
The good news is the sun is shining today and we are setting more boxes with the remainder to be set tomorrow. From
that point on the main mission over the next several days since no rain is expected is to get the roof up and the entire building
water tight so we can start on any finish work in the interior.

Very Busy Week at 3 Story Project
Over 40 boxes were set this week at the 3 story project in South Amboy despite the constant battle with the
weather. Rain and wind were a constant problem so mainly 1st and 2nd floor boxes were set this week with only part of
one day to pull up and set some of the roof. Hoping to work on the roof early next week. Most of the Dormers are
built and ready to be set once the roof is up. Photos will be posted shortly. Modular Construction is definitely
the way of the future. It has many applications.

another 8 boxes up along with two third floor boxes and roof work. We are all looking forward to a nice day tomorrow
so we can get more third floor boxes on and get a large part of the roof pulled up and weather tight. Stay Tuned!

Pheonix Home Receives 5+ star Energy Certification Rating
Recent Home in Hopatcong that was just completed received a 5+ rating from the Certified Energy Star rater.
Home was so tight the meter on the Blower Door test did not even register. The rater was very impressed. Duct
Blaster Test also passed with flying colors, again such a low air leakage the meter did not register. We and the homeowner
are very pleased with this outcome. The energy costs for this particular home will be much lower than a comparable non-energy
star certified home and much better than a stick built home.

Green News - CFL Bulbs Are Now Dimmable!
Compact Fluorescent Bulbs could not be used in dimmer fixtures until now. Philips
Energy Saver dimmable compact fluorescents deliver reduced operation costs compared to incandescent equivalents. They
feature soft white light with excellent dimming performance when used with many standard household dimmers. The can
dim to 10% of full light. The electronics and tube design optimize life and dimming performance, while the low end dimming
limit prevents flickering with many standard household dimmers. Now you can go green with "all" of your
light fixtures in your entire home.
